Thunder Rock, at Company onStage, Jan. 15-Feb. 20

A Lake Michigan lighthouse is safe haven for a disillusioned war veteran who elects to isolate himself from society. The imagined ghosts from a shipwreck on the lake ninety years earlier give him the confidence to reconnect with the world he deserted. A fascinating and inspirational drama.

The Hollow, at Clear Creek Theatre, Jan. 15-Feb. 7

An unhappy game of romantic follow-the-leader explodes into murder one weekend at The Hollow, home of Sir Henry and Lucy Angkatell. Dr. Cristow is at the center of the trouble: Henrietta, his mistress; Veronica, his ex mistress; and Gerda, his wife are all visiting at The Hollow - within five minutes Cristow is dead. Nearly everyone has a motive and most had the opportunity. A great "whodunit."

Rehearsal for Murder, at ACE Theatre, Jan. 22-Feb. 13

Written by Richard Levinson and William Link, the creators of Columbo and Murder, She Wrote, Rehearsal for Murder takes place in an empty theater as playwright Alex Dennison stages an elaborate plan to reveal the truth behind his movie star fiancée's supposed suicide. Cast and crew from her first, and only stage play performance are gathered together a year after her death under the pretext of a reading of his new play. "Unusual form, a mystery," Alex notes, "You take the audience by the hand, and you lead them in the wrong direction. They trust you, and you betray them! All in the name of surprise."
